Dear Club Members,

It seems hard to believe that another fall is almost over and the end of the year is quickly approaching. I hope everyone is staying warm with their Cavaliers.

We have a final club event for 2011 scheduled for November 12th, which is our Holiday party and elections. Speaking of elections, the November meeting will be my last as President of the club. I would like to thank all the board and club members who helped me out over the last two years. I have learned a great deal about running meetings and how a dog club is organized. I would also like to thank the 2011 nominating committee-Karen, Sue and Meredith, who have presented the slate of officers to be elected. We still have an opening for Secretary; please consider supporting your club and becoming involved as a member of the board.

We put on a lot of great events in 2011; our puppy match, the annual picnic, the dog message demo and the Howl-o-ween party, just to name a few. I’m sure 2012 will be just as fun. There are already plans in the works to have a Cavalier breed booth at the Columbus Pet Expo in March. If you have any ideas for events you would like to see the club put on or speakers you would like to hear from, please email me or any of the board members.
